Step into a surreal journey through towering, monumental sculptures.

the experience

Leonora Carrington painted labyrinths throughout her life. Not as decoration, but as a philosophical statement: only those willing to get lost have the chance to find themselves.
Magic Labyrinth transforms that metaphor into reality.

The experienceβ€”approximately 45 minutes longβ€”is built around original monumental sculptures by the artist, set within immersive, mystical environments. Sound, texture, light, scent, and scale allow you not only to observe them, but to step inside her world.

the artist

β€œAndrΓ© Breton called her the ambassador of the other sideβ€”a seer returning from the underworld, endowed with visionary powers. Today, that other side can be entered.”

Leonora Carrington (1917–2011) was one of the most fascinating figures of Surrealism. Born in England, she found her home in Mexico and, in many ways, chose to become Mexican. It was here that she developed much of her work, creating a singular universe filled with symbolism, alchemy, and fantastical beingsβ€”one that has established her as one of the most important artists of the twentieth century.
